Financial Planning Advisory Committee (FPAC)
The mission of the standing Financial Planning Advisory Committee for the Township and Fire Department is to formulate short-term and long-term priorities for Makanda Township government. The purpose will be to develop and outline a planning vision for the Township that defines guidelines, actions, timetables, and rationales for implementation of those priorities.
As of summer 2025, the committee meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of the month at 4pm at Fire Station 2. This meeting is open to the public. Public comments are limited to two periods on the standard agenda, unless an an attendee is invited by the Chair to present information.
